Here’s your chance to follow Pablo Picasso’s advice: “Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them as an artist”. Learn from professional artist and sought-after art educator, Crystal Beshara and take your water colouring skills to the next level.
A two-day intensive
Two days of concentrated, hands-on learning experiences in the PMAC Studio — a uniquely creative space — the company of fellow artists and Crystal's guidance will help you develop and improve your watercolour skills at a pace not otherwise possible.
What you’ll learn
During this two-day intensive workshop, you’ll learn how to identify and read values, create reflective surfaces and render fabric. You’ll learn how to develop luminous dark backgrounds that make your subject pop.
Other techniques you’ll learn include lifting • glazing • masking • rich colour recipes • creating luminous darks and mastering control.
With Crystal’s guidance, you’ll explore the building blocks of realism and then create a final still life painting.
Experience required
This workshop is suitable for intermediate and more developed watercolourists looking to develop and refine their technique. You must have some knowledge and practice in watercolour as this is a quick-pace workshop. A good benchmark would be having taken at least two prior workshops with Crystal or you have a good understanding of basic watercolour techniques, terminology and colour names.
