Gallery primer for consignment artists
Artists from the Champlain catchment and surrounding communities are invited to exhibit their work in our gallery and/or teach in our studio.
Gallery traffic
The PMAC Gallery welcomed nearly 1,100 visitors during it's first year of operations — the 12 months to the end of June 2025. As a fledgling gallery, we have a long road ahead of us to develop a regular following of gallery patrons, raise awareness of the gallery and exhibiting artists — to become a regular destination for art lovers and buyers.
Showcase your work and enjoy the journey with us.
The business end
Plain English — with a pinch of legalese
The Consignment Artist / PMAC Cooperation Agreement — prepared after extensive consultation with community artists — strives to strike a balance between serving both the artist’s and the gallery’s needs. It is not a robust legal contract covering every eventuality. Instead, we’ve kept it as simple as possible, relying, to some extent, on building good-faith relationships.
Don’t be fooled by the four pages — we’ve focussed on readability for the mature eyes amongst us. There is no small print!

Gallery commission
Gallery commission is set at 30% while offering a stone-and-mortar-only gallery. The cooperation agreement makes allowance for the commission to increase to 35% and 40% in the future as the gallery's services expand.

Copyright
Your copyright and ownership protected while giving PMAC the rights to promote your works.
