Join jeweller and enamellist, Laura Eustace, for a sizzling four-hour workshop where you'll unlock the magic of enamelling.  Don't be afraid of the torch – we'll demystify the process and equip you with essential studio safety knowledge.

 

You will learn

Dive into the vibrant world of powdered glass as you learn to apply and fuse colorful enamels on copper, creating a dazzling pair of earrings or a pendant in your own unique design.  From creating your shape to mastering the techniques, Laura will guide you every step of the way.  Finish your masterpieces with sterling silver findings or a stylish leather cord, ready to wear your masterpiece with pride.

About Laura

Laura, the artist behind LOLA Jewellery is a Toronto-born creator who now calls Alexandria home. With professional goldsmithing training from George Brown College, she brings a wealth of expertise to her craft. Laura explores traditional metalsmithing techniques, enamelling, and seed beading to create unique and eye-catching pieces.

Safety Requirements

  • We will provide all the personal protective equipment you will need, including a dust mask, which you must wear for the short periods during which you work with dry enamel powders.
  • Please wear natural fibre clothing, tie back long hair and wear closed shoes.
  • You may want to wear work clothes or an apron, or a chore/work jacket so that you don’t get metal filings or enamel dust on your clothing.
